No obligation level of care crisis assessments via walk-in, by appointment, telephone or telehealth. Acute psychiatric stabilization for individuals in behavioral health crisis.
Psychiatric hospitalization for adolescents 12-17 years and adults 18+ years; medical detox for adults 18+ years offering withdrawal management from alcohol, benzodiazepines, polysubstance use.
30 hours per week (Monday-Friday) of group-based therapy with medication evaluation and management. Programs for: adolescents (12-17), adults, active duty military, veterans, first responders, and other occupations with high-risk trauma exposure.
3 days per week/3 hours per day (total 9 hours per week) of group-based therapy. Specialties include adolescents age 12-17; mental wellness; chemical dependency, caregivers, and faith/spiritual based.
Telepsychiatry allows patients to see a psychiatric provider over easy and accessible video. Our psychiatric providers practice across all specialties, ages and acuity levels.
Follow-Up After Hospitalization provides post-discharge psychiatric appointments within 7 days. FUH, a care quality measurement score, is emerging as a critical tool for closing care gaps and decreasing readmission.
We match clients with licensed specialists for in-person or video therapy sessions in order to seamlessly continue treatment as directed by a referring provider. If preferred, therapy can also be directed at the discretion of our matched therapist.

Denver Springs provides mental health services and addiction treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Denver Springs is a premier, acute-care behavioral health provider located in Englewood, Colorado, offering stabilization of mental health and substance use conditions. Services include no obligation crisis evaluation in which the member is assessed by a behavioral health professional for safety and severity of symptoms. A level of care recommendation is provided based on evaluation outcome and the advice of a medical provider. Denver Springs offers the following services:
- Crisis evaluation
- Inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for adults and adolescents ages 12-17
- Inpatient medical detox for adults over the age of 18
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) - 30 hours per week of group therapy-based programming (adults ages 18 and up, adolescents 12-17 years old)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - 9 hours per week of group therapy-based programming. Specific curriculum tracks for adults include: wellness, chemical dependency and caregiver support. Mental wellness IOP is available for adolescents ages 12-17

Detailed Description of Services:
Crisis Evaluation
An evaluation performed by a behavioral health professional either in person or telephonically. The evaluation can be initiated by the outpatient provider via phone at 1-720-643-4300 or by the member via phone or walk-in. The member may be expressing a desire to harm self or others, may be unable to safely care for self, or is in a perceived crisis situation that requires additional support. A level of care is recommended after the evaluation based on the members presenting information and at the advice of a medical provider.

Levels of Care:
Inpatient Hospitalization
A structured, hospital-based program which provides 24-hour/7-day nursing care, medical monitoring, and physician availability; assessment and diagnostic services; active behavioral health treatment in a group-based therapy setting; and, consultation with an immediacy needed to avoid serious jeopardy to the health of the member or others.
Patient Demographics: Adolescents ages 12-17 years for mental health treatment, Adults 18+ for mental health treatment and substance use withdrawal management (alcohol, benzodiazepines, and polysubstance use.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
A structured, 30 hour per week, group therapy-based program that provides assessment and diagnostic services to members who are experiencing serious signs and symptoms that result in significant personal distress and/or significant psychosocial and environmental issues. PHP provides education, treatment, and the opportunity to practice new skills outside the program.
PHP - 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday) of group-based therapy with medication evaluation and management. Programs for adolescents (12-17), adults, active duty military, veterans, first responders, and other occupations with high-risk trauma exposure.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A structured, 9 hour per week group therapy-based program that provides assessment and diagnostic services to members who are experiencing moderate signs and symptoms that result in significant personal distress and/or significant psychosocial and environmental issues. The purpose of services is to monitor and maintain stability; decreasing moderate signs and symptoms; increase functioning and assist members with integrating into community life.
IOP - 3 days per week/3 hours per day (total 9 hours per week) of group-based therapy. Specialties include adolescents (12-17); mental wellness; chemical dependency; caregivers; and faith/spiritual based.
