Reminder to submit Medicaid claims by June 30, 2025
Last year, you were notified that UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Minnesota is no longer administering Medicaid benefits effective Dec. 31, 2024.

The deadline to submit claims with eligible dates of service through Dec. 31, 2024, is coming on June 30, so you’ll need to submit them by that date or sooner to ensure timely filing payment.
Inpatient care that spans 2024-2025
If authorized inpatient care began prior to or on Dec. 31, 2024, with discharge occurring Jan. 1, 2025 or later, you must submit claims within 180 days from the date of service. This includes services rendered in 2025 through the date of the patient's discharge.
Note: For any inpatient facility members who remained in the facility past Dec. 31, 2024, you may submit eligible claims up to their discharge date for payment within 180 days of the date of service or date of discharge.

- Special Needs BasicCare
- Medical Assistance
- MinnesotaCare
- Minnesota Senior Health Options
- Minnesota Senior Care Plus
