Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible for you and for our Medicaid members. 

 Transition resources

• Authorizations – UnitedHealthcare and Optum will honor all approved prior authorizations for services not yet rendered.

•  Wednesday Office Hours – Weekly office hours are an opportunity to ask questions and request support. Anyone can attend. Just click to join the Teams meeting.   
  Office Hours are 3 – 4 pm ET every Wednesday through March 27, 2025

• Claims assistance – Please reach out to your Optum Behavioral Health Provider Relations Advocate. Not sure who that is? Review the contact information to find the Advocate for your county.

•  New admissions or step-downs – There are 2 ways to report admissions or a step down to a lower level of care: 
  
  • Online: Submit via the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal. Go to UHCProvider.com and log in with your OneHealthcare ID and password
  • By phone: Call Optum Behavioral Health at 1-800-658-0569
