New appointment availability training required for Medicare providers

Required by the state of Arizona, the 2024 Timeliness Studies Training helps network Medicare providers understand the appointment scheduling times recently required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. To make sure you are meeting these requirements, the state created a short training to ensure patients can access the behavioral health care they need, when they need it.  

Here's what you need to do

Go to the Arizona state page on Providerexpress.com and click on 2024 Timeliness Studies Training under Provider Trainings to access the PDF of the training. Then, complete the fillable form on slide 12 of the training PDF and email the completed attestation to qi@ahcusa.com or send via fax to 1-562-207-4617.  You must submit the attestation within 30 days of completing the training.
