Quincy Mobile Services Center Office Hours

On Friday, May 15, at the Boston Quincy Marriot, Optum Behavioral Health Provider Relations Advocates met local providers to offer individual support related to doing business with Optum.

This was the first of many Mobile Service Center events planned for the year, in which Optum representatives met providers at an easily accessible location to provide support for working with Optum.

Our advocates were able to troubleshoot specific problems, provided guidance for working in the Provider Express secure portal and offered task instruction for claims submission and processing. We also helped staff with reading a Provider Remittance Advice and reviewed the importance of updating provider profiles and attestation requirements.

This opportunity fostered personal relationships between providers and the individual advocates who support their work and, for most, was their first in-person contact.

Attendees offered feedback in a follow-up survey indicating a 100% satisfaction rate with the event, expressing their appreciation for personal contact with the Optum team, having questions resolved quickly and the ease with which resources are found on Provider Express. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and share their feedback with us. We value our partnership with you and appreciate the care you provide for our members.

To better serve our providers, we are bringing Optum resources to a Massachusetts community near you, so watch for future announcements!
