Optum Behavioral Health and Mass. General Brigham Health Plan (MGBHP) leaders and teams gathered in March for the first Western Massachusetts provider event. Massachusetts-licensed participating providers from Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire participated, and post-event surveys showed that 96% of attendees had a positive experience at the event.
Participants earned Continuing Education Unit credits by attending Dr. Sofia Noori’s Advances in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment presentation which followed an exclusive dinner. Question and answer topics included Provider Express secure portal tools, how to read a provider remittance advice, understanding insurance plans, and the importance of maintaining an accurate provider profile.
