April 2025 Top of Mind

April 24:  Two-factor authentication is required to access the Provider Express secure portal

Act now: set up your two-factor authentication to avoid account interruption

Providers and users of the Provider Express secure portal are required to set up a two-factor authentication method such as passkey (recommended), phone, or Microsoft authenticator before April 24, 2025.

If you’re not able to do so before April 24, you will no longer be able to log in to the provider express secure portal.

The next time you log in, choose which two-factor authentication option you would like to use going forward. The setup tutorial walks you through the full process for all three options using easy-to-follow steps.

Why is this change being made?

This enhanced security measure adds an extra layer of protection beyond the current password and email authentication process – making it harder for unauthorized users to gain access to protected information. Email authentication will no longer be an option.

What do I need to do?

You’ll need to choose one of these three options as an alternate method of verifying your One Healthcare ID account login:

  • Passkey – recommended
  • Phone
  • Microsoft (MS) Authenticator

How do I begin?

Remember, the setup tutorial illustrates the full process for all three options step by step. You can make changes or choose another authentication option at any time in the “Manage Profile” section of your One Healthcare ID account.
