OutCare also equips you with a suite of other resources, including a dedicated Q&A for advice and guidance, and tools to enhance your affirming care practice.

The 101 Training – Optum

  • This comprehensive module covers LGBTQ+ terminology, disparities, communication and resources. One CEU credit; duration 1 hour 

The LGBTQ+ Mental Health Training – Optum

  • Learn about a variety of topics including terminology, history, minority stress, mental health disparities, interventions and resources. One CEU credit; duration 1 hour

The LGBTQ+ Trauma-Informed Care Training – Optum

  • Deepen your understanding of trauma experienced within LGBTQ+ populations. Explore trauma screenings and tools and learn practical approaches for delivering trauma-informed care. One CEU credit; duration 1 hour

The LGBTQ+ Child and Adolescent Mental Health Training – Optum

  • This two-part training provides an in-depth look at the mental health challenges unique to gender diverse and transgender children and adolescents. It covers essential terminology, the effects of societal stigma and how mental health conditions intersect with gender diversity. Two CEU credits; duration 2 hours

The National LGBTQ+ Curriculum – Optum

  • Diverse presenters across the U.S. will provide eight trainings on key LGBTQ+ topics, including history, mental health, primary care and gender-diverse health. Four CEU credits; duration 4-5 hours.
