Delivering OTP and OBOT bundled services just got easier…and faster

For services rendered on or after Oct. 1, 2026, network providers no longer need to obtain administrative authorization for the following Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) and Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) bundled services and billing codes:

• Primary Weekly Procedures (7-day return to provider/RTP) with billing codes H0020, H0033, G2067 and G2068
• Primary Monthly Procedure (28-day return to provider/RTP) with billing codes H0047 and G2073

This waiver applies to Opioid Treatment Program and Office-Based Opioid Treatment services delivered across all Medicare Advantage, Commercial and Individual Exchange* Plans, as indicated on provider fee schedules.

Note: Prior authorization is still required for Opioid Treatment Program  and Office-Based Opioid Treatment for members covered by UMR for the following bundled codes: H0020, H0033 and H0047.
