Optum surveys help you maintain active network status, meet EOHHS standards

Optum provider surveys are part of our continued partnership with you to help us maintain a strong, compliant provider network that supports our members with excellence.  Did you also know that responding to the surveys is a contractual and regulatory requirement?

Why surveys are so important

Optum surveys play a vital role to maintain your active status within the provider network and ensure compliance with Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) standards. Your participation helps us:

  • Keep provider information accurate and up to date
  • Monitor network adequacy and accessibility
  • Support quality‑improvement initiatives
  • Meet state and federal regulatory requirements

What happens if you don’t respond?

Providers who do not complete required Optum surveys may be designated as non‑compliant, which may:

  • Suppress your Optum provider directory listing
  • Reduce visibility to members
  • Decrease referral opportunities
  • Impact your contract status

What you can do

  • Watch for emails or phone calls from Optum requesting survey completion
  • Respond promptly — survey data is time‑sensitive
  • Contact us if you have questions or believe a notice was sent in error
