MassHealth 2025 claim submission deadline

MassHealth has announced that all claims with 2025 service dates must be adjudicated by July 31, 2026. This means providers must submit 2025 claims to Optum for processing no later than Monday, July 1 for processing and payment by Friday, July 31. Please note that timely filing limits still apply.

Claim submissions for 2025 dates of service received after July 1, 2026, will not be processed for payment.

How to submit claims in the Provider Express secure portal

  1. Log into the Provider Express secure portal with your One Healthcare ID. Select create a One Healthcare ID to create a new account. 
  2. From the menu at the top of the page select Claims.
  3. To submit a new claim, choose Submit from the drop-down menu. To edit an existing claim, choose Modify Claim from the dropdown.
  4. Complete the required information and submit.
