Update your profile with new areas of expertise

Don’t miss out on members finding you! If your practice offers services for the new Optum areas of expertise, attest to them and any others by updating your provider profile and directory listing. It’s easy:

  1. Log in to the Provider Express secure portal using your One Healthcare ID and password. If you don’t have an ID, you can create one on the login page.

  2. Go to My Practice Info > Clinician Information > Attested Expertise to attest to your care expertise.

  3. Need additional help? Review this training guide for step-by-step instructions on how to add your attested areas of expertise. 

     

    Attested Area of Expertise

    HCPCS Codes & Modifiers

    Homebuilders (H): This program provides intensive, home- and community‑based family preservation services to prevent children and youth from entering foster care, group homes, psychiatric hospitals or juvenile justice facilities.

    H0036 HK, HO, or HN

    Motivational Interviewing (MI): This program uses a person‑centered, directive approach to boost internal motivation for behavior change and develops a plan to achieve it.

    90832, 90834, 90837 HE

    Multisystemic Therapy (MST): Provides intensive treatment for troubled youth, promoting pro‑social behavior while reducing criminal activity, mental health symptoms, substance use and out‑of‑home placements.

    H2033 (requires prior authorization)

     

    Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT): This program helps children and caregivers by reducing externalizing behaviors, improving social skills and cooperation and strengthening the parent‑child attachment.

    90847 HR

    Functional Family Therapy (FFT): A family intervention program that serves at‑risk youth and their families, with master’s‑level therapists meeting with them weekly.

    H0036 HA (requires prior authorization)

    Parents as Teachers (PAT): This home‑visiting program provides early childhood parent education and family support to promote healthy child development and prevent maltreatment.

    Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT): A brief intervention that addresses adolescent drug use, conduct and oppositional problems, delinquency, aggression and risky sexual behavior.

    Health Families (HF): Helps parents create a safe, nurturing home and provides guidance and resources to support strong family relationships and healthy child development.

    Nurse Family Partnership (NFP): Provides nurse home visits to first‑time mothers during pregnancy and early childhood to support healthy pregnancies, child development and strong family bonds.
