ConnectiCare Group Plan Members are Getting new ID Cards and Group Numbers

Verifying that you have accurate member plan information before every visit isn’t just good practice for your business. If you work with clients covered by a ConnectiCare group (Commercial) health plan, it’s key to having your claims processed quickly and accurately. 

Why the change?

ConnectiCare is now managing billing, enrollment and eligibility verifications for approximately 8,000 Commercial plan members. As these services transition from an external partner, group ID numbers will change. 

  • Current group ID#: 1102837 (all plans)
  • New group ID#: Each group will have its own unique group number that begins with 115

New cards mailed over several months

Updated ID cards are being mailed beginning June 1 and wrapping up by Dec. 31. The timing corresponds with the renewal or launch date of individual ConnectiCare customer plans. This phased implementation underlines the importance of verifying you have up-to-date member information at every visit.

Not sure if the ID card a member presents is outdated?

You can check member eligibility and benefits in Provider Express, the Optum Behavioral Health secure portal. Just log in with your One Healthcare ID and password.  You may also call ConnectiCare at 1-888-946-4658 to confirm member eligibility.
