Highlight your trauma expertise in the Optum provider directory so members can find you at a glance

Optum is working on a new designation to highlight specific organizations, groups and clinicians who deliver the gold standard in evidence-based trauma treatment. It’s piloting in Arizona, Washington, and Hawaii. You help us establish the criteria, training and experience needed to be eligible for the designation. We are looking for providers in these states to volunteer to take a brief survey of the services they offer to help us better understand what exists in the trauma-treatment space.

Here’s what you need to do:

If your organization provides trauma-focused services to Medicaid members and wants this expertise to be highlighted in the Optum provider directory, email the following information to harrison.crawford@uhc.com.

• Email subject line: Trauma-focused expertise
• Name of your group or organization
• NPI number
• Name and email address(es) for the individual(s) best suited to provide information about your trauma treatment services/options

You’ll receive a link to a short survey to provide initial information, and then receive outreach to explore ways to highlight your expertise and partner with us in providing the best possible treatment to our members. Thank you in advance for your interest.
